Job Description:

Role overview

Working as a member of the PRM (Passengers with Reduced Mobility) Team, you will allocate resource to ensure passengers receive assistance within a timely manner. You will also ensure vehicle allocation is organised to service aircraft’s with PRM passengers.

Principal accountabilities

  • Allocate the correct resource to meet the passenger demand
  • Deliver or collect passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques
  • Customer focussed – understand the level of assistance required for Passengers with Refuced Mobility
  • Ability to use the IT system which tracks agent/passenger’s movement
  • Ensure the Duty Manger is updated on movements around the airfield or Terminal
  • Ability to work safely under time pressures
  • Reliable, conscientious with an eye for detail
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach
  • Capable of working as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience:

Specific Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer or IT experience from previous roles
  • Passionate about customer service from previous roles or experience
  • Experience of working in an airport
  • Confident in doing presentations to EAL campus staff and external customers
  • Well organised and able to manage fluctuating workloads

Desirable Experience

  • Full UK drivers license

Framework and boundaries

This role would be suitable for someone seeking a varied and rewarding role working with vulnerable people to assist them in accessing travel services. The role will be initially focused on PRM but may assist the wider EASL operation if required.
