This role is to provide specialist expertise across a board range of IT systems and infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically focussed professional looking to develop their skills across the server, systems, data centre and network landscape. This is a hands-on delivery position, best suited to someone willing to turn their hand to any technical problem or opportunity. This role sits within IT Department, IT Ops Team, as part of the wider Technical Asset and IT function. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager.
This role is part of a team which provides specialist knowledge and expertise across the entire airport technology landscape. A value-add team of professionals, promoting the positive use of technology to improve business efficiency and performance, influencing, supporting and delivering on technology strategy. There are 3 key areas of focus:
- Working in partnership with the technology team, business users and key technology partners to deliver a powerful and stable, technical platform. Helping to identifying opportunities and owning the continuous improvement priorities and deliverables.
- Supporting the Service Team with 3rd line incident support, training, problem management and non-standard requests.
- Providing technical resource and expertise to the Project Delivery function
