We are looking for a dedicated, talented, and knowledgeable IT Project Manager to enable the delivery of IT projects within our project governance framework.

This is an exciting time to join Edinburgh Airport, with no shortage of interesting projects for an someone to get stuck into. You will play a pivotal role in delivering key projects that will support the airport achieve its future growth targets.

About the recruitment process
Following the online application form, shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face-to-face interview with our IT Delivery Manager. The interview will consist of competency and values based questions. You can find out more about our interview process and examples of questions here.
 

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of IT projects through the project lifecycle, from initiation through to transition to service.
  • Leading the delivery of IT workstream objectives within wider capital projects.
  • Ensuring stakeholders are engaged and aligned on project outcomes.
  • Working closely with the IT team to ensure IT Change Delivery best practice is followed (including design assurance, change approval and transition to service).
  • Encouraging project delivery best practice and actively promoting continuous improvement of our processes and ways of working.

To apply for this role, you'll need to obtain a Counter Terrorist Check, so you must have been living in the UK for the last 3 consecutive years.

  • Experience of facilitating the delivery of IT infrastructure and/or systems projects.
  • Experience of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people, and guide them towards achieving a common goal.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, and good ability to distil technical information into plain language.
